Calling all food lovers! It is now time to submit your favorite recipes for the cookbook in celebration of 40 years of LAMS.

Lititz Area Mennonite School (LAMS) is gearing up for its annual community service project and fundraiser, Trash-a-Thon.  Students in grades K-8 along with family members and faculty will be helping to take care of God’s Creation on Thursday, October 12 by picking up litter along roadways, in parks, and around local businesses and churches throughout Lancaster County.

We are on the verge of celebrating 40 years of Christian education and touching the lives of hundreds of young people.  It is our desire to reconnect with those students and see the impact they are having around the world.  Can you help us?  If you know someone who is a LAMS alumnus please encourage them to connect with the school.  They can do this by simply emailing the school at

This year LAMS float strolled down the streets of Ephrata with the theme of Rooted in Christ. Our tree logo and core values were the inspiration behind the idea. Since we are known as LAMS, students dressed as lambs with shepherds to guide them. If you missed us at Ephrata watch out for us in the Manheim Parade coming up Oct. 7th.
