Charlotte's Web

Charlotte’s Web, the E.B. White children’s classic, is slated for performance at Lititz Area Mennonite School May 9 (12:30 pm.) and May 10-11 (7:00 p.m.). The story (adapted for the stage by Joseph Robinette) follows a young piglet named Wilbur as he discovers the world of the Zuckerman farm—and the unfortunate dangers of being a pig! Surrounded by a cast of lively animals and befriended by a courageous spider named Charlotte, Wilbur learns the true meaning of sacrificial kindness and the gratitude it inspires. The production involves a cast and crew of over 30 middle school students under the leadership of LAMS staff members Kristen LeFever (director), Evalyn Harris and Jordan Moffett (production co-managers), as well as Jim Bulgrien (sound and lights).
