Lititz Area Mennonite School (LAMS) is gearing up for its annual community service project and fundraiser, Trash-a-Thon.  Students in grades K-8 along with family members and faculty will be helping to take care of God’s Creation on Thursday, October 12 by picking up litter along roadways, in parks, and around local businesses and churches throughout Lancaster County.  Armed with trash bags and donning gloves and bright orange vests, students and adult volunteers put into practice one of LAMS’ core values, serving.  About two tons of litter are collected Trash-a-Thon day.

Prior to the event, students ask members of the community to sponsor them with monetary donations.  All funds go towards the operating budget of the school.  If you wish to sponsor LAMS' Trash-a-Thon please call the office or contact any family attending LAMS.
