We see our children making godly choices in their lives...

Dennis and Michele Saylor have been patrons at LAMS since 1998. Although they both graduated from public high schools they decided that their children should attend a Christian school. They continue to make this investment because they consider Christian education valuable in the lives of their children. They shared this about their experience at LAMS:

We decided on private, Christian school because we wanted our children to be educated in a setting that supported the values and beliefs that we were teaching them at home. We wanted them to be taught the truth academically and felt that subjects like science and history could not be taught accurately from a secular world view. We were involved with foster care at the time and knew that it was even more critical for children from this background to be surrounded by godly influence and teaching as much as possible. It was important to us that the teachers, who are with our children all day, are believers and are praying with and for our children.

We continue to remain at LAMS because of the positive influence it has had on our older children. As they moved out of LAMS, we found that the solid academics prepared them to excel in high school and college. More importantly, we see our children making godly choices in their lives based on the values and high moral standards that were reinforced throughout their years at LAMS. It has been a blessing to be a part of a community of believers where we can freely support and encourage each other on a spiritual level.
As we continue to raise children in an increasingly turbulent and sinful world, we are keenly aware of how important it is to give our kids a firm foundation so that they remain steadfast in their faith as they enter college and the workplace. We have been very thankful for the role LAMS has played, supporting us in our job of parenting. Our family has been blessed in countless ways by being part of the LAMS family!
