Band

Beginner Band

This is a program that offers free instrument lessons to students in 4th and 5th grades.  In beginner band students learn the basics of their instrument in weekly group lessons and are prepared for entry into the Middle School Band.  Lessons take place during the regular school day and are taught by LAMS’ music teacher, Miss Melody Stahl.

Middle School Band

Students in grades 6-8 who have previously studied a band instrument are eligible to join the middle school band.  This band rehearses twice per week and gives several performances throughout the year.
